Who we are

De Sousa Luxury Real Estate is a two-person agency based in Funchal, licensed by IMPIC under AMI 18584 and working the Madeira market since 2018. We act for private buyers and owners — mostly arriving from Germany, the UK and Scandinavia — across Funchal, Câmara de Lobos, Calheta, Santa Cruz, Machico and Ponta do Sol, and on Porto Santo.

The approach is deliberately narrow. We do not run a call centre or a portfolio of hundreds of listings; we take a limited number of mandates, view every property ourselves and put our assessment in writing, including the reasons not to buy. You appoint your own independent lawyer, and we brief them rather than replacing them. Everything runs in English, Portuguese or German, whichever you are most precise in when money is involved.
